What to check before upload
Sample peak should leave room for true peak verification. If the sample peak is hotter than -1 dBFS, confirm in a mastering meter.
Clipping samples are a warning sign. Re-export, lower the limiter output, or revisit your master before distribution.
Check intro and outro silence so the track does not feel broken, delayed, or awkward on streaming platforms.
Compare multiple masters instead of choosing the loudest one by default. Translation and fatigue matter.
