How to stop Suno from singing your prompt
If Suno is singing your instructions, the lyric box or prompt wording may be giving the model text that looks like lyrics.
Why it happens
AI music tools do not always know which words are instructions and which words are lyrics. If the lyric box has too much descriptive text, the model may treat that text as something to sing.
The fix is not usually “yell louder” with more warnings. The fix is to separate style instructions from lyric instructions and keep the lyric box clean.

Instrumental cinematic future bass, emotional guitar, no vocals, airy pads, big drop, no singing, no words, no lyrics.
Cleaner lyric box
[Instrumental]\n\nNo lead vocal. No readable lyrics. Soft vowel chops only if needed.
Fix checklist
Keep the lyric box short and intentional.
Use section tags like [Instrumental] instead of long paragraphs.
Put style and production notes in the style prompt, not the lyric area.
Say no lead vocal, no readable lyrics, or vocal chops only when needed.
Avoid phrases that look like singable lyric lines unless you want them sung.
Regenerate from a cleaner prompt instead of stacking more warnings.
